ABOUT
Kora’s puppies are a variety of Colors (click to see the different color variations our Goldendoodle puppies have been in the past). Both Kora and Moose are gifted with gorgeous thick coats that are loosely curled and super soft and lush! Their puppies should all have amazing coats with a range of curl patterns.
Kora’s puppies make amazing family dogs due to their tolerant natures, love for cuddles, and entertaining antics. One of her previous puppies is an official service dog, as well!
We expect these puppies to vary in size from approximately 45-65 lbs with some being smaller at maturity and others larger due to parentage.
In addition to daily care, these puppies will also receive Early Training, among many other things. We are extremely involved with each and every puppy while they are here with us, and we do a lot to help prepare our puppies for life with you. Learn more here.
Pictures will be updated weekly on our website, along with updates and descriptions of any new developmental milestones, accomplishments, and training. We will also post puppy weights, personality observations, and videos throughout the puppies’ early weeks with us.
UPDATE
Kora’s puppies are 5 weeks old!
It has been a big week for the puppies with lots of new changes!
Kora is doing well, and is still weaning her puppies. She has been enjoying brief daily walks again.
All of the puppies were bathed for the very first time last week! They all did so well with both the bath and being blown dry afterwards. Their puppy fluff is really starting to fill out and they are becoming cuter by the day. They have outgrown their newborn collars and are wearing slightly sturdier puppy collars now.
The first puppy teeth have erupted, and the puppies are still working on weaning. Their puppy kibble is being served less soft as their teeth come in. They have been enjoying lapping water and spend less times with their paws in the dish.
They are much more alert than they were last week, and they are playing with each other, pawing at things, and chewing on toys. They have found their waggy-tails, and are delighted to hear each other growl and squeak. Several of them are learning how to pick up speed and are trying to run, so adorable! We have taken them outside to play in the grass several times, and interact with them down at their level daily.
Their vision is still developing, and their eye color may also continue to change a bit. Their hearing abilities are also still limited.
Now that the temperatures outside have risen substantially, we are keeping their space cooled. They are still unable to fully regulate their own body temperature in regards to the air around them.
The puppies have had their nails trimmed again this week.
We play a variety of radio stations for the puppies daily, and will continue sound stimulation; a series of recordings from farm animals to city traffic, and doorbells to party hubbub, as well as soothing classical music.
The puppies are doing well in their new pen! They are working on both Litter Box Training and Early Crate Training simultaneously this week. Not only are they learning to use the litter box, they are also learning to keep their crate clean and dry for sleeping and playing. Both of these skills are super important for their training later on. They are spending more of their time awake and playing, and have progressed with potty training to the point where we have expanded their space to include the entire pen for a large play area. They are doing very well with keeping the floor clean!
