ABOUT
Serena’s puppies will most likely be in Classic Colors of apricot and red, potentially with white markings. They will have amazingly soft, plush coats as both Serena and Dandy are gifted with extremely thick and beautiful floof!
These puppies will most likely bond very closely and be wonderful companion dogs! (We DO NOT recommend Serena’s puppies for families with young and rambunctious children; they require more gentle handling due to their finer bone structure and size as compared to our larger Mini and Mini-Medium Goldendoodles.)
We are expecting a varied size range for these puppies; Micro Goldendoodles (10 – 20 lbs) to Petite Mini Goldendoodles (25ish lbs) with some being smaller at maturity and others larger due to parentage.
In addition to daily care, these puppies will also receive Early Training, among many other things. We are extremely involved with each and every puppy while they are here with us, and we do a lot to help prepare our puppies for life with you. Learn more here.
Pictures will be updated weekly on our website, along with updates and descriptions of any new developmental milestones, accomplishments, and training. We will also post puppy weights, personality observations, and videos throughout the puppies’ early weeks with us.

Serena’s puppies are now 7 weeks old! New and final pictures are here!
Serena is doing well! She is back on her pre-puppy schedule and is enjoying daily walks, playtime, and lounging about the house. She is a happy girl and has completed weaning her babies.
It is a another big week for the puppies!
Their puppy fluff is really starting to fill out and they are becoming cuter by the day!
All but one of the puppies have been reserved!
The puppies are in full teething mode and are enjoying a variety of chew toys. They especially love gnawing on their baby carrots! They are eating dry puppy food, are done nursing, and are drinking water like champs.
They are much more alert than they were last week, and they are playing with each other, pawing at things, chewing on toys, and interacting with everything. They are making good use of their waggy-tails, and love to hear each other growl and yip during playtime. They are picking up speed and running when they chase each other around. So adorable! We have taken them outside to play in the grass several times now, and will continue to do so weather permitting. They also get playtime with lots of fun items in a large pen while their own space is being cleaned.
Their eyesight is still developing, and their eye color may continue to change a bit. (By around 8-16 weeks old their vision should be fully mature for distance sight.)
Their hearing is pretty well developed at this point.
We will continue sound stimulation this week; a series of recordings from farm animals to city traffic, and doorbells to party hubbub, as well as soothing classical music.
The puppies are doing so well with both Litter Box Training and Early Crate Training! We have begun Night Training in the group crate in preparation for going home! We close them in at night and let them out first thing. They run to litter box right away in the morning! We are continuing to work on the very early stage of basic manners training; asking politely for attention by sitting calmly.
The puppies have had their nails trimmed for the seventh time this week.
Last but not least, we have taken the puppies for their vet check, and they did very well. They settled down to sleep quickly in the car. In the vet’s office, they looked around and sniffed hard at all the new smells. Our vet was happy with the litter and they slept on the way home.
This week is very full as we continue preparing the puppies for their new homes, get together all of the paperwork for their folders, and pack their Starter Kits (see what’s inside), along with answering many last minute questions as the excitement builds approaching pick-ups. It is a bittersweet time as we say goodbye to each little puppy that we have loved and watched over since birth, but also a beautiful and joyful time as we see the smiles and happiness they bring as they are welcomed into their new families!

*Please Note: Due to their small size, even at 8 weeks of age, Serena’s puppies are typically not quite as advanced in their Early Training skills as our larger puppies, but they still will have gone through the steps of our Early Training program. This is due mostly to bladder size, as they are simply unable to “hold it” for extended periods of time until they grow older.*
By the time they go home at 8 weeks of age, each puppy will have been:

- Through ESI Training (Early Scent Introduction)
- Cuddled and played with often
- Exposed to a variety of sights and sounds
- Given the chance to experience many new things

Charm is a handsome solid red with no white markings. His coat may be wavy to slightly curly, but will most likely be nice and fluffy rather than super tight curls as he matures.
He is currently the largest male as well as the largest puppy in the litter, and has a nice solid, more blocky build compared to his siblings. We expect him to be about 20 pounds when mature, possibly even up to 30 pounds.
Charm is relatively calm for a Petite Mini. He is a confident fellow who loves playing and adores attention. He has the happiest wagggy-tail!
